The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.53.6

चक्षुः पश्यतु कर्णश्च श्रृणोतु त्वक्स्पृशत्विदम् ।
रसना च रसं यातु कात्र कोऽहमिति स्थितिः ॥ ६ ॥

cakṣuḥ paśyatu karṇaśca śrṛṇotu tvakspṛśatvidam |
rasanā ca rasaṃ yātu kātra ko'hamiti sthitiḥ || 6 ||

Let the eyes see, the ears hear, and your touch feel their objects, let your tongue also taste the relish of a thing, but why take them to your soul and where is your egoism situated in these?
