The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.52.23

वैवस्वतोऽद्य तु यमो य एष पितृनायकः ।
अनेन त्वधुना साधो परिक्षीणेषु केषुचित् ॥ २३ ॥

vaivasvato'dya tu yamo ya eṣa pitṛnāyakaḥ |
anena tvadhunā sādho parikṣīṇeṣu keṣucit || 23 ||

Now it will come to pass, that this Yama—the son of the sun and the lord of the regions of the dead; will again perform his penance in the aforesaid manner after the expiration of many ages to come.
