The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्रैते यमचन्द्रार्कशक्राद्याः शंसितक्रमाः ।
भूतपञ्चकसंसारलोकपालत्वमागताः ॥ १४ ॥

tatraite yamacandrārkaśakrādyāḥ śaṃsitakramāḥ |
bhūtapañcakasaṃsāralokapālatvamāgatāḥ || 14 ||

In him reside the deities Indra and Yama and the sun and moon, who are renowned and hallowed in the scriptures; and in him abide the five elemental creation, and they that have become the regents.
