The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अविद्याया विचारोऽयं जीवपुर्यष्टकादिका ।
अप्यत्यन्तमसत्यायाः कल्पना कल्पितात्मनः ॥ १६ ॥

avidyāyā vicāro'yaṃ jīvapuryaṣṭakādikā |
apyatyantamasatyāyāḥ kalpanā kalpitātmanaḥ || 16 ||

Agnosticism imputes false attributes to the nature of the Deity, and it is the doctrine of the agnostics to misrepresent the universal spirit, under the forms of the living soul and the perishable body.
