The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.50.26

चित्त्वस्य कलनान्तस्य संप्रयातस्य जीवताम् ।
मनःषष्ठेन्द्रियग्रामो देहोऽयमवतिष्ठते ॥ २६ ॥

cittvasya kalanāntasya saṃprayātasya jīvatām |
manaḥṣaṣṭhendriyagrāmo deho'yamavatiṣṭhate || 26 ||

After the intellect has taken the form of the living soul, and the same has received its vitality; the action of the heart sends its feelings to the mind, which forms the sixth organ of the body.
