The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.48.8

तथैव चित्तचेत्यादिस्पन्दात्कुर्वन्ति संस्थितिम् ।
यथा ह्लादयति स्वच्छः पल्लवं रश्मिरैन्दवः ॥ ८ ॥

tathaiva cittacetyādispandātkurvanti saṃsthitim |
yathā hlādayati svacchaḥ pallavaṃ raśmiraindavaḥ || 8 ||

Even when their minds are employed in meditative thoughts, they are usually attended with a charming gladness, like that of the charming moonbeams falling on and gladding the leafy branches of trees.
