The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.46.41

नित्यं सुषुप्तपदमेव जगद्विलासः सम्यक्प्रशान्तसमचिद्धनखात्मकत्वात् ।
पद्माः शिलान्तरिव सर्गदशास्त्वसारा दृष्टा न देहमुपयान्ति कदाचिदेव ॥ ४१ ॥

nityaṃ suṣuptapadameva jagadvilāsaḥ samyakpraśāntasamaciddhanakhātmakatvāt |
padmāḥ śilāntariva sargadaśāstvasārā dṛṣṭā na dehamupayānti kadācideva || 41 ||

All actions and motions of things are as motionless in mind of God, as the carved lie asleep in the hollow of a stone. It is the wrong superfluous view of things, that presents to us all these varieties and changes; but considered in the true and spiritual light, there is body nor any change that presents itself to our sight.
