The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.46.28

उक्त्या संपद्यते यच्च तल्लयेन विलीयते ।
ब्रह्मैवेदं विकारादि विकाराद्यर्थवर्जितम् ॥ २८ ॥

uktyā saṃpadyate yacca tallayena vilīyate |
brahmaivedaṃ vikārādi vikārādyarthavarjitam || 28 ||

The word (Fiat) that has produced this all, causes their changes and dissolutions also in itself. Know then that Brahma from whom this fiat and these changes have sprung, and all these being accompanied with Brahma and the original fiat, the word change is altogether meaningless.
