The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
सत्यमेतन्मया दृष्टा तादृशी सा महाशिला ।
शालग्रामे हरेर्धाम्नि विद्यते परिवारिणी ॥ १३ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
satyametanmayā dṛṣṭā tādṛśī sā mahāśilā |
śālagrāme harerdhāmni vidyate parivāriṇī || 13 ||

Rama said:—All this is true, and I have seen this large stone of salgrama in my travels; and I remember it to be placed in the shrine of Vishnu, amidst a bed of lotus flowers.
