The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

योजनानां सहस्राणि विपुलं विमलं स्फुटम् ।
युगैरप्यजरद्रूपमस्ति बिल्वफलं महत् ॥ २ ॥

yojanānāṃ sahasrāṇi vipulaṃ vimalaṃ sphuṭam |
yugairapyajaradrūpamasti bilvaphalaṃ mahat || 2 ||

There is a big and beautiful vilva or bel fruit, as large as the distance of many myriads of miles, and as solid as not to ripen or rot in the course of as many many ages.
