The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथा प्राप्तिक्षणे वस्तु प्रथमे तुष्टये तथा ।
न प्राप्त्येकक्षणादूर्ध्वमिति को नानुभूतवान् ॥ २ ॥

yathā prāptikṣaṇe vastu prathame tuṣṭaye tathā |
na prāptyekakṣaṇādūrdhvamiti ko nānubhūtavān || 2 ||

Who does not feel a pleasure at the time of his achieving an action, which he did not feel a moment before, nor is likely to perceive the next moment after he has done the work.
