The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भ्रान्तिरासीदिदानीं सा निवृत्ता त्वत्प्रसादतः ।
न जायते न म्रियते न चैवात्मा कलङ्कितः ॥ २४ ॥

bhrāntirāsīdidānīṃ sā nivṛttā tvatprasādataḥ |
na jāyate na mriyate na caivātmā kalaṅkitaḥ || 24 ||

I was under the error (of the mortality and materiality of the soul), which I have now come to understand, is neither foul matter, nor is it born or dies at any time.
