The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिदेकतानतामेत्य सौषुप्तीमागतः स्थितिम् ।
अद्यप्रभृति राम त्वं तुर्यावस्थात्मको भव ॥ १८ ॥

cidekatānatāmetya sauṣuptīmāgataḥ sthitim |
adyaprabhṛti rāma tvaṃ turyāvasthātmako bhava || 18 ||

Do you, O Rama! betake yourself to the fourth stage of susupta or hypnotism hence forth, as the even tenor of the intellect, is attended by its trance at the end.
