The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुष्टः प्रथमसंकल्पस्तां मनोमूर्तिमास्थितः ।
यद्यथा कल्पयत्याशु तत्तथानुभवत्यलम् ॥ ७ ॥

puṣṭaḥ prathamasaṃkalpastāṃ manomūrtimāsthitaḥ |
yadyathā kalpayatyāśu tattathānubhavatyalam || 7 ||

The primary volition of ideal creation becoming compact in time, it takes the form of the mind; which feels itself able to effect in act, whatsoever it wills in itself.
