The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जीवशक्तिस्तथाभूता निश्चयैकविलासिनी ।
बुद्धितामनुयाता सा भवत्यज्ञपदे स्थिता ॥ ३३ ॥

jīvaśaktistathābhūtā niścayaikavilāsinī |
buddhitāmanuyātā sā bhavatyajñapade sthitā || 33 ||

After the power of vitality is established and has come in force; there follows the faculty of understanding; which remains in utter ignorance at first.
