यथाप्राप्तक्रमोत्थेन सर्वार्थेन समर्चयेत् ।
मनागपि न कर्तव्यो यत्नोऽत्रापूर्ववस्तुनि ॥ ३१ ॥

yathāprāptakramotthena sarvārthena samarcayet |
manāgapi na kartavyo yatno'trāpūrvavastuni || 31 ||

He is to be worshipped with all things agreeably to the received ritual, and no attempt is to be made to make any offering, which was never made at any time before.
