The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आदित्यभावनाभोगभाविताम्बरभास्वरम् ।
शशाङ्कभावनाभोगभावितेन्दुतयोदितम् ॥ ८ ॥

ādityabhāvanābhogabhāvitāmbarabhāsvaram |
śaśāṅkabhāvanābhogabhāvitendutayoditam || 8 ||

He may be contemplated in the form of the sun, shining brightly in the sky; as also in that of the moon, which cools the sky with its benign moon beams.
