The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इमां भूतश्रियं तस्य रोमालिं प्रविचिन्तयेत् ।
विविधारम्भकारिण्यस्त्रिजगद्यन्त्ररज्जवः ॥ १२ ॥

imāṃ bhūtaśriyaṃ tasya romāliṃ pravicintayet |
vividhārambhakāriṇyastrijagadyantrarajjavaḥ || 12 ||

These series of creatures are to be considered as the rows of hairs on his body; and the different courses of their actions, are as the strings binding the machines of the world together.
