The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नियतिर्नित्यमुद्वेगवर्जिताऽपरिमार्जिता ।
एषा नृत्यति वै नृत्यं जगज्जालकनाटकम् ॥ २३ ॥

niyatirnityamudvegavarjitā'parimārjitā |
eṣā nṛtyati vai nṛtyaṃ jagajjālakanāṭakam || 23 ||

This destiny continues to dance about the great arena of the universe, until the mind is cleared of her bugbear and freed from anxiety by the knowledge of truth.
