The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कारणं कारणौघानामकारणमनाविलम् ।
भावनं भावनौघानामभाव्यमभवात्मकम् ॥ ३ ॥

kāraṇaṃ kāraṇaughānāmakāraṇamanāvilam |
bhāvanaṃ bhāvanaughānāmabhāvyamabhavātmakam || 3 ||

He is the pure cause of all causes, without any cause of himself; he is the producer and sustainer of all, without being produced or supported himself by another.
