The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बीजं समस्तबीजानां सारं संसारसंसृतेः ।
कर्मणां परमं कर्म चिद्धातुं विद्धि निर्मलम् ॥ २ ॥

bījaṃ samastabījānāṃ sāraṃ saṃsārasaṃsṛteḥ |
karmaṇāṃ paramaṃ karma ciddhātuṃ viddhi nirmalam || 2 ||

He is the seed of seeds, and the pith and marrow of the course of nature; know it also as the agent of all actions, and the pure gist of the intellect also.
