The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.35.28

सकलजन्तुषु यत्त्वभयप्रदं विदितमाद्यमुपास्यमयत्नतः ।
त्वमजमात्मगतं परमं पदं भवसि किं परिमुह्यसि दृष्टिषु ॥ २८ ॥

sakalajantuṣu yattvabhayapradaṃ viditamādyamupāsyamayatnataḥ |
tvamajamātmagataṃ paramaṃ padaṃ bhavasi kiṃ parimuhyasi dṛṣṭiṣu || 28 ||

By worshipping this well known and unborn first cause in one's self and at ease (i.e. without the formal rite);every one is freed from his fears, and attains his supreme felicity, why then do you bewilder yourselves amidst the visible vanities of the world.
