The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहंतादिक्रमेणाशु पञ्चकानुभवभ्रमात् ।
स्थावरं जंगमं सर्वं वेत्ति तत्तद्भवत्यलम् ॥ २६ ॥

ahaṃtādikrameṇāśu pañcakānubhavabhramāt |
sthāvaraṃ jaṃgamaṃ sarvaṃ vetti tattadbhavatyalam || 26 ||

The same erroneous conception of its gross materiality, misleads to the belief of its own egoism and personality. It conceives also its state of a moving or unmoving being, and this conception of it converts it instantly into the like form.
