The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देशकालक्रियासत्तानियत्याद्याश्च शक्तयः ।
चिदात्मिका एव चितः सत्त्वात्संपतिताः स्वतः ॥ १४ ॥

deśakālakriyāsattāniyatyādyāśca śaktayaḥ |
cidātmikā eva citaḥ sattvātsaṃpatitāḥ svataḥ || 14 ||

The entities of time and space, and the powers of action and destiny (divine ordinance), are all derived from and directed by the intellect and bear their intellectual natures also.
