The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.32.30

हृत्पद्मपत्रस्फुरणात्स्फुटं पुर्यष्टकं भवेत् ।
हृत्पद्मयन्त्रे वहनाद्रुद्धे पुर्यष्टकं क्षयि ॥ ३० ॥

hṛtpadmapatrasphuraṇātsphuṭaṃ puryaṣṭakaṃ bhavet |
hṛtpadmayantre vahanādruddhe puryaṣṭakaṃ kṣayi || 30 ||

The expansion of the lotus-like heart, causes the puryashtaka body to expand also; but when the organ of the heart ceases to blow and breathe, the body ceases to move.
