The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.32.25

निःस्पन्दे पद्मपत्रेऽन्तः प्राणाः शान्तिं प्रयान्त्यमी ।
तालवृन्ते यथाऽस्पन्दे बहिः पवनशक्तयः ॥ २५ ॥

niḥspande padmapatre'ntaḥ prāṇāḥ śāntiṃ prayāntyamī |
tālavṛnte yathā'spande bahiḥ pavanaśaktayaḥ || 25 ||

The action of the lotiform heart having ceased, the motion of the vital breaths is stopped also; as the fanning of the palmleaf fan being over, there is no more the current of the outer air.
