The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.32.22

प्राप्य चाप्यनुसंधानमस्या मोहो विनश्यति ।
घनमोहरतो जन्तुः स्वकार्यस्मरणं यथा ॥ २२ ॥

prāpya cāpyanusaṃdhānamasyā moho vinaśyati |
ghanamoharato jantuḥ svakāryasmaraṇaṃ yathā || 22 ||

But as it comes to know itself afterwards by some means or other, it recovers from its dull insensibility, and regains its state of original purity; as a drunken or deluded person turns to his duty, after he comes to remember himself.
