The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बिभेत्यथ स्वसंकल्पात्स्वशब्दादिव गर्दभी ।
नानया सदृगन्यास्ति मुग्धा बाला चलाऽबला ॥ १०४ ॥

bibhetyatha svasaṃkalpātsvaśabdādiva gardabhī |
nānayā sadṛganyāsti mugdhā bālā calā'balā || 104 ||

It is afraid of its own desires, as the she-ass is seen to shudder at its own brayings; and it has no one like itself.
