The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.30.95

ऋतुचक्रं प्रवहति सहसा कालमण्डलम् ।
दिनरात्रितयोपैति तेजस्तिमिरतां क्रमात् ॥ ९५ ॥

ṛtucakraṃ pravahati sahasā kālamaṇḍalam |
dinarātritayopaiti tejastimiratāṃ kramāt || 95 ||

It makes the curricle of time to revolve continually in the circle of the seasons; and causes the day and night to rotate in their cycles of light and darkness.
