The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.132

त्वमेतच्चेतनाकाशमात्मानं जीवमव्ययम् ।
स्वभावं विद्धि न त्वन्यः पूज्यः पूजात्मपूजनम् ॥ १३२ ॥

tvametaccetanākāśamātmānaṃ jīvamavyayam |
svabhāvaṃ viddhi na tvanyaḥ pūjyaḥ pūjātmapūjanam || 132 ||

You should know the soul as the intellectual and living spirit, undecaying as the very nature herself; there is no other that is to be worshipped, the true puja is the worship of the spirit.
