The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समाधिं तनुतां नीत्वा स्थितोहं बाह्यमग्नदृक् ।
अपश्यं कानने तेजो झटित्येव समुत्थितम् ॥ ९४ ॥

samādhiṃ tanutāṃ nītvā sthitohaṃ bāhyamagnadṛk |
apaśyaṃ kānane tejo jhaṭityeva samutthitam || 94 ||

My intense meditation was broken at this instant, and my trance gave way to the sight of outward objects, which I kept looking upon for sometime; when I observed a flaming fire suddenly rising in the forest to my view.
