The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.88

तं पूजयन्महादेवं तस्मिन्नेव गिरौ पुरा ।
कदाचिदवसं गङ्गातटे विरचिताश्रमः ॥ ८८ ॥

taṃ pūjayanmahādevaṃ tasminneva girau purā |
kadācidavasaṃ gaṅgātaṭe viracitāśramaḥ || 88 ||

It was to worship this great god, that I had once dwelt on that mountain long ago; and constructed my hermit-cell on the bank of the holy stream of Ganges.
