The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पिशाचोऽपि मनो राम शून्यदेहगृहे स्थितः ।
भावयत्येष दुष्टात्मा मौनमुत्तम संस्पृशन् ॥ ६६ ॥

piśāco'pi mano rāma śūnyadehagṛhe sthitaḥ |
bhāvayatyeṣa duṣṭātmā maunamuttama saṃspṛśan || 66 ||

Rama! the mind has also like a demon, taken possession of the empty house of the body, and has like an evil spirit, silenced and overpowered upon the intangible soul in it.
