The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.58

सर्वगोऽपि यथाकाशः संबन्धो नेह केनचित् ।
सर्वगोऽपि तथैवात्मा नाहंकारेण संगतः ॥ ५८ ॥

sarvago'pi yathākāśaḥ saṃbandho neha kenacit |
sarvago'pi tathaivātmā nāhaṃkāreṇa saṃgataḥ || 58 ||

The soul is ubiquitous and free to rove every where, without its having any connection with the ego of any body; just as the ubiquity of the all pervading sky, is unconnected with every thing in the world.
