The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देहालये स्फुरत्यस्मिन् राम चित्तपिशाचके ।
अस्यानन्तविलासस्य किमिवागतमात्मनः ॥ ५५ ॥

dehālaye sphuratyasmin rāma cittapiśācake |
asyānantavilāsasya kimivāgatamātmanaḥ || 55 ||

Rama! what though the demon of Egoism, may play all its freaks in its abode of the body, it can in no way affect the soul which is quite aloof of it.
