The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असदेव सदाभासमिदमालक्ष्यतेऽनघ ।
अज्ञानभ्रमविस्तारमात्रकाकृतयोऽनघ ॥ ११ ॥

asadeva sadābhāsamidamālakṣyate'nagha |
ajñānabhramavistāramātrakākṛtayo'nagha || 11 ||

The unsubstantial mind which appears as a substantiality, has had its rise since the creation of Brahma; and taken a wrong and erroneous course of its own.
