The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संरोधितायां वहनाद्रघुनन्दन रुद्ध्यते ।
क्षोभितायां मनोनाभ्यामिदं संसारचक्रकम् ॥ ६ ॥

saṃrodhitāyāṃ vahanādraghunandana ruddhyate |
kṣobhitāyāṃ manonābhyāmidaṃ saṃsāracakrakam || 6 ||

The wheel of the world is continually revolving round the centre of desire, put a peg to its axis, and it will stop from turning about its pole.
