The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.28.71

नेदमाडम्बरं व्यर्थमनर्थायावभासते ।
अहमेव हि वा सर्वं चिदित्येवं विभाविते ॥ ७१ ॥

nedamāḍambaraṃ vyarthamanarthāyāvabhāsate |
ahameva hi vā sarvaṃ cidityevaṃ vibhāvite || 71 ||

That these phenomena are nothing in reality, but they show themselves unto us for our delusion only; and that yourself also are nothing will appear to you, by your thinking the whole as a display of the Divine Intellect.
