The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देहोऽयं चित्रदोषोत्थः किमन्यत्परिदेव्यते ।
देहाच्चेदन्य एवाहं चिदाभासस्तदङ्ग हे ॥ ६० ॥

deho'yaṃ citradoṣotthaḥ kimanyatparidevyate |
dehāccedanya evāhaṃ cidābhāsastadaṅga he || 60 ||

I am not of this body nor was I in it, nor shall I remain in it; nor is it any thing, even at present, except a picture of the imagination. Why then lament at its loss.
