The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
भगवन्भवता भूमिभास्वता ज्ञानरश्मिभिः ।
हार्दमुद्दामदौरात्म्यं प्रमृष्टमखिलं तमः ॥ ६ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
bhagavanbhavatā bhūmibhāsvatā jñānaraśmibhiḥ |
hārdamuddāmadaurātmyaṃ pramṛṣṭamakhilaṃ tamaḥ || 6 ||

Rama replied:—you sir, that are the luminous sun of spiritual light on earth, have dispelled the thick gloom of unspiritual knowledge from my mind at once.
