The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एतां दृष्टिमवष्टभ्य स्वप्राणाभ्यासपूर्विकाम् ।
भुशुण्डवन्महाबाहो भव तीर्णमहार्णवः ॥ २ ॥

etāṃ dṛṣṭimavaṣṭabhya svaprāṇābhyāsapūrvikām |
bhuśuṇḍavanmahābāho bhava tīrṇamahārṇavaḥ || 2 ||

Keeping this instance in view, and following his practice of pranayama or regulation of breath; you will also, O mighty armed Rama! pass over the wide ocean of this hazardous ocean.
