The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.27.12

तेनार्घ्यपाद्यपुष्पेण त्रिनेत्रमिव मामसौ ।
आपादमस्तकं भक्त्या पूजयामास पूर्वजः ॥ १२ ॥

tenārghyapādyapuṣpeṇa trinetramiva māmasau |
āpādamastakaṃ bhaktyā pūjayāmāsa pūrvajaḥ || 12 ||

The prime-born (ancient) bird, then took the arghya with some water and flowers; and sprinkled and scattered them over me even from my head to foot, in as great a veneration, as when they adore the three eyed god Siva.
