The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

घटश्चिच्चित्पटश्चित्खं चिद्वनं शकटं च चित् ।
चित्सर्वमिति मे भावस्तेन जीवाम्यनामयः ॥ ३८ ॥

ghaṭaściccitpaṭaścitkhaṃ cidvanaṃ śakaṭaṃ ca cit |
citsarvamiti me bhāvastena jīvāmyanāmayaḥ || 38 ||

It is my belief that I am the same Intelligence, which shows itself in the pot and picture; and which dwells in the sky above and in the woods below. That all this is full of intelligence is my firm reliance, and this has made me long abiding and free from decay.
