इदमद्य मया लब्धमिदं प्राप्स्यामि सुन्दरम् ।
इति चिन्ता न मे तेन चिरं जीवाम्यनामयः ॥ १२ ॥

idamadya mayā labdhamidaṃ prāpsyāmi sundaram |
iti cintā na me tena ciraṃ jīvāmyanāmayaḥ || 12 ||

This boon have I gained this day, and that better one shall I have on another, are the ruinous thoughts of mortal men, and unknown to me whereby I have so long living and unailing.
