The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्राणस्य प्राणनं प्रोच्चैः परं जीवस्य जीवनम् ।
देहस्य धारणं धुर्यं चिदात्मानमुपास्महे ॥ ६४ ॥

prāṇasya prāṇanaṃ proccaiḥ paraṃ jīvasya jīvanam |
dehasya dhāraṇaṃ dhuryaṃ cidātmānamupāsmahe || 64 ||

That which forms the breathing of breath, and is the life of life, what is the support and bearer of the body, is the intellectual spirit which I ever adore.
