The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.24.37

सहस्रविनिकृत्ताङ्गाद्बिसतन्तुलवादपि ।
दुर्लक्ष्या विद्यमानापि गतिः सूक्ष्मतराऽनयोः ॥ ३७ ॥

sahasravinikṛttāṅgādbisatantulavādapi |
durlakṣyā vidyamānāpi gatiḥ sūkṣmatarā'nayoḥ || 37 ||

These breaths being divided into a thousand threads, according as they pass through the many canals of the body, are as imperceptible as the white fibres passing inside the stalks of lotus plants.
