The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तयोर्ममानुसरतः प्राणापानाभिधानयोः ।
गतिं शरीरमरुतोराशरीरमरुद्धयोः ॥ ३५ ॥
tayormamānusarataḥ prāṇāpānābhidhānayoḥ |
gatiṃ śarīramarutorāśarīramaruddhayoḥ || 35 ||
Thus by watching the motion of those airs (i.e. of the prana and apana—inspiration and expiration for the whole of my lifetime); I find the course of my life to be as interminable, as that of the continuity of my breathings.
