The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.24.27

यान्त्यायान्ति विकर्षन्ति हरन्ति विहरन्ति च ।
उत्पतन्ति पतन्त्याशु ता एताः प्राणशक्तयः ॥ २७ ॥

yāntyāyānti vikarṣanti haranti viharanti ca |
utpatanti patantyāśu tā etāḥ prāṇaśaktayaḥ || 27 ||

These vital powers are employed in passing in and out, in taking in and letting out, in rising and falling, and also in moving throughout the body.
