The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.24.17

आस्यप्रधानसुद्वार भुजपार्श्वोपमन्दिरम् ।
दन्तालिकेसरस्रग्भिर्भूषितद्वारकोटरम् ॥ १७ ॥

āsyapradhānasudvāra bhujapārśvopamandiram |
dantālikesarasragbhirbhūṣitadvārakoṭaram || 17 ||

The opening of the mouth is the great door way to the house, the two arms are as its two wings; and the two sets of teeth answer the strings of flowers, which are hung on the gate way for its decoration.
