The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कदाचिद्धिमवद्वासी कदाचिन्मलयाचलः ।
कदाचित्प्राक्तनेनैव संनिवेशेन भूधरम् ॥ ४० ॥

kadāciddhimavadvāsī kadācinmalayācalaḥ |
kadācitprāktanenaiva saṃniveśena bhūdharam || 40 ||

I have often been a resident of the Himalayas, and of the Malaya Mountain in the South of India, and then led by destiny as described before, I have found my last abode on this mount of Meru.
